ד"ר אסתר איזמן היא סגנית הדקן לקידום ההוראה והלמידה, ראשת התכנית לחינוך מיוחד בתואר הראשון ופריזמאית הפקולטה. היא עמיתה בתכנית "אלומות" למובילים בהכשרת מורים ועומדת בראש מיזם חברתי בנושא הוראה מותאמת וליווי צוותי חינוך לקידום תלמידים עם צרכים מיוחדים בבתי ספר בפריפריה חברתית.
תחומי מחקרה מתמקדים בהכלה ובהשתלבות של תלמידים עם צרכים מיוחדים במערכת החינוך ומשפחותיהם וכן בקשר שבין התנסות בלמידה מתווכת והשתנות קוגניטיבית לבין מאפיינים של שפה וחשיבה.
