Special Education


The Special Education track can be studied as a double major or as a structured double major with a teaching certification

 

The Special Education track aims to prepare students for research, teaching and educational work with children with a broad range of disabilities. Our graduates work with children with intellectual disabilities, physical handicaps, sensory disabilities, emotional or behavioral disorders, and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The curriculum includes professional training toward obtaining teaching certification in special education from the Ministry of Education while providing academic research tools and skills.


Structure of courses:

1. General courses
     - Introduction to Education
     - Research Methodology

2. Disciplinary courses
     -Psychology and various forms of Special Needs
