The Place of Contestation in the Discourse of Conflict Education
Lecturer
The objective of this section of the introduction is to describe and analyse the place of the component of contestation in the discourse of conflict education. First Judaism’s approach to disagreements and contestation between different and opposing opinions is presented, which is pivotal to conflict discourse in Israel and for Jews worldwide, and can serve as a starting point for debate as to its wider relevance.
