Integrating Infant Mental Health Into Primary Health Care and Early Childhood Education Settings in Israel

The Mediational Intervention for Sensitizing Caregivers (MISC)model is a comprehensive developmental approach to help adults understand their role in chitd development by
enhancing the quality of adult-chitd interactions. This articte describes how the Irving B. Harris Program for Infants, Toddters and Their Famities at Bar-Itan University integrates infant mentat health into two different public systems serving infants, toddlers, and their famities in Israel. The authors also describe an educational training program for child care workers based on the MISCapproach.
