The Faculty of Education at Bar-Ilan University invites applicants to apply for a senior faculty position in Leadership, Organizational Development, and Policy in Jewish Education and Diaspora. This is an open rank tenure-track research position to begin at the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
Qualifications:
•Ph.D. in leadership and policy in Jewish education, leadership and entrepreneurship, academic and public diplomacy, and international relations.
•Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in sociology, political science, and leadership of Jewish education in Israel and worldwide.
•Proven research experience is required in one of the following areas: Leadership and Policy in Jewish Education, Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy in Jewish Education, Leadership for Social Justice in Jewish Education, Global Policies and International Relations, Academic and Public Diplomacy, Civic advocacy, Global Diplomacy, Impact of International Relations on Jewish education and global issues.
•Demonstrated research excellence and publications in high-ranking international academic journals.
•Experience and excellence in academic teaching.
·Ability to supervise MA and Ph.D. students
·Experience in competitive grant proposal submission– an advantage
·Graduate or postgraduate studies abroad – an advantage
