The perpetuation of traditionalism in a parochial school system for minority groups

The aim of the research is to identify mechanisms through which parochial schools structure and perpetuate their traditional dimension, and the interests served by preserving traditionalism. The research was conducted among nine Jewish schools in Paris (6), Brussels (2) and Geneva (1). Findings show that school traditionalism is maintained and constructred systematically through  organizational structure, pedagogical and social strategies.
