Call for Applications: Senior Faculty Position in Leadership, Educational Systems Management, and Educational Policy

Faculty of Education, Bar-Ilan University, Academic Year 2026-2027

The Faculty of Education at Bar-Ilan University invites applications for a senior faculty position on a research track, at the rank of Senior Lecturer or above, for the academic year 2026-2027.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. from a recognized academic institution in one or more of the following areas, or a closely related field:
• Educational Leadership, Management and Policy,
• Organizational Psychology,
• Organizational Behavior,
• Higher Education,
• Educational Leadership and Systems Management in the Digital and Artificial   Intelligence Era
• Regulation and Education Policy
• A strong record of high-quality, peer-reviewed publications in international   academic journals.
• The ability to supervise graduate students (M.A. thesis and Ph.D. dissertations).
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in submitting competitive   research grant proposals.
• Preference will also be given to candidates who have completed postdoctoral   training or academic studies abroad.
• Demonstrated excellence in academic teaching.
• Researchers from other disciplinary backgrounds are also encouraged to apply,   as long as they demonstrate a clear interest in studying educational systems and   organizations.
• Experience in academic program management – an advantage.

• Curriculum Vitae including a complete and ranked list of publications (IF   according to WOS and SJR).
• Cover letter including: description of research areas, experience in research and   academic teaching, teaching evaluation results (if available), plans for future   research, and potential contributions to innovation in research and academic   teaching.
• Recommendations: At least three academic referees, including at least one from   Israel and one from abroad. Please include names, institutional affiliations, and   contact information.
