Teaching Certificate Scholarships
The Faculty of Education offers a range of scholarship options for students who choose to combine their academic degree with Teaching Certificate studies. These scholarships are designed to support students at different stages and within specific programs, and are subject to defined eligibility criteria, academic requirements, and University regulations.
The sections below outline the guidelines for each scholarship track.
- Teaching Certificate Tuition Waiver Scholarship
Academic Years 2023–2026
Overview
A full tuition waiver scholarship for Teaching Certificate studies is available to new BA and MA students who combine their degree with a Teaching Certificate program in an approved field.
Eligibility
Students are eligible if the academic year 2023–2024, 2024–2025, or 2025–2026 is their first year of degree studies, combined with a Teaching Certificate program in one of the disciplines listed on the School of Education (Teacher Training) webpage.
Program Requirements
Students may complete the Teaching Certificate over one or two years, concurrently with their degree, subject to the following:
- BA students: Completion by the end of Year 3 (inclusive)
- MA students (with or without thesis): Completion by the end of Year 2 (inclusive)
Withdrawal
Students who discontinue their studies will forfeit the scholarship and will be required to pay full tuition for Teaching Certificate studies, in accordance with University tuition and withdrawal policies.
Extension Beyond the Designated Period
Students who exceed the designated Teaching Certificate study period (two years) will, in their third year, be required to pay a minimum of 50% tuition, including all associated fees.

Enrollment in the Teaching Certificate program constitutes acceptance of these terms.
- Teaching Certificate Scholarship (50% Tuition)
Academic Year 2026–2027
Overview
A 50% tuition scholarship for Teaching Certificate studies is available to new BA and MA students who combine their degree with a Teaching Certificate program in an approved field.
Eligibility
- New students beginning their BA or MA studies in the 2026–2027 academic year
- Enrollment in a Teaching Certificate program in one of the approved disciplines
Program Requirements
Students may complete the Teaching Certificate over one or two years, concurrently with their degree, subject to the following:
- BA students: Completion by the end of the degree, and no later than the end of Year 3 (inclusive)
- MA students (non-thesis): Completion by the end of Year 2 (inclusive)
- MA students (with thesis): Completion by the end of Year 3 (inclusive)
Withdrawal
Students who discontinue their studies will forfeit the scholarship and will be required to pay full tuition for Teaching Certificate studies, in accordance with University tuition and withdrawal policies.

Academic Year 2026–2027
Overview
A full tuition waiver scholarship for Teaching Certificate studies is available to students enrolled in the Amitim Bar-Ilan Program who combine their BA studies with a Teaching Certificate in an approved field.
Eligibility
- First-year undergraduate students in the Amitim Bar-Ilan Program (2026–2027 academic year)
- Enrollment in a Teaching Certificate program in one of the disciplines approved within the program
Withdrawal
Students who discontinue their studies will forfeit the scholarship and will be required to pay full tuition for Teaching Certificate studies, in accordance with University tuition and withdrawal policies.
