The Center for Technology in Special Education
The Center for Technology in Special Education is headed by Prof. Adina Shamir and was established in 2012 as a contribution to society. The goal of the Institute is to advance students with special needs through the use of technology. The Institute's activities combine the development, research, and treatment of populations at risk and of special needs through existing advanced technologies and those developed by the Department of Special Education at the University. The Institute's activities include work by the faculty members and graduate students as part of their contribution to the community.
